► EPISODE 109: One Concept Method with Hayley Fedders Studio Seaside

Have you heard of the One Concept Method and wondered how to implement it to attract high-end clients?

Then this is the episode for you!

On today's episode, Michelle is joined by fellow brand designer Hayley Fedders to dive deep into this game-changing method to streamline your process. PLUS, learn more about positioning yourself as a creative expert and how tools like ChatGPT can work for you and not against you.

Hayley Fedders spent the past 8 years building her design studio into what it is today. But the first 5 years, she struggled big time to make ends meet, was stressed out every month, spent way too long Googling everything and craved a community of fellow designers.

Fast forward to today, where she put the hard work in to move beyond stressful, penniless months, and her design studio, Studio Seaside, has turned into so much more than what she had originally imagined.

These days she splits her time between client design work and helping fellow brand designers through her online course, Brand Process Savvy.

In today's episode, we cover the following:

  • How Hayley got into graphic design and her origin story

  • The power of blogging and educational content

  • How Hayley's style has evolved and the brands she typically focuses on

  • The value-add of the One-Concept Method

  • The brand designer's process and her favorite and least favorite parts of it

  • How ChatGPT can be utilized to benefit your business

  • Finding clients via TikTok and managing the varied feedback on the platform

  • Blocking out time to do things for you as a freelancer so you don't feel fried at the end of the day

  • Hayley's ins and outs for 2023
