Brag-Worthy Branding
This is our bread and butter. Whether you're building something new or finally giving your business the visual identity it deserves — we've got two ways in, at two different levels of depth.
WEEK 1 Define the Brand
We kick off with the strategy session — a 90-minute screen share walking through your brand questionnaire.
We dig into mission, vision, adjectives, ideal client, competitive landscape, psychographics, and positioning. This is the foundation everything else gets built on.
We always start here:
Every brand design project — mini or full service — follows the same foundation. The difference is how far we go after the core brand is built.
WEEK 2 Build the Aesthetic
We take everything you told us and mirror it back to you visually. This is where we build the Pinterest board (with sections for logo inspiration, photography, messaging, packaging, and merch), the mood board with color swatches, and a curated stock/AI imagery album of royalty-free visuals that can carry into your future shoots & content.
WEEK 3 Design the Brand
We go deep on the one-concept method — pulling all the ideas together into a single, fully realized brand direction. You receive a 10–15 minute video presentation (delivered via Basecamp) that walks through the logos, fonts, colors, and styles, and shows how they materialize across social, digital, print, and merch.
WEEK 4 Watch. Walk Away. Come Back.
Watch the video presentation all the way through first. Then step away for 24 hours. On the 24-hour mark, come back and leave your notes. You get one round of revisions — use it thoughtfully. We're looking for 85–90% alignment. The goal is to see the brand through the eyes of your ideal client, not everyone you know.
Your Brand, Ready to Deploy
All assets delivered via Google Drive — logos, fonts, colors, styles, imagery — and loaded into your Canva kit (SVG logos, brand fonts, imagery, and brand recipe). You also receive a brand cheat sheet one-pager with everything labeled and ready to reference.
The Brand Guideline
The multi-page brand guideline is your brand's Bible. It covers everything — mission, vision, adjectives, ideal client, photography styling, shot lists, print specs (ink, paper, finishes), digital guidelines, social guidelines, and merch direction. If you're building a brand meant to last 10, 15, or 20 years — or managing a team — this document is what keeps everything aligned.
…but a full service
brand design also includes
Mockups + Design File Execution
Everything you see in the brand presentation gets executed. Business card, email signature, letterhead, Spotify playlist, animated GIFs, social media mockups, signage files, packaging, merch — all delivered as print and digital-ready design files.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Process
-
Every brand starts with strategy. We kick off with a 90-minute strategy session where we dig into your mission, vision, ideal client, competitors, and positioning.
From there we build out the visual direction — Pinterest board, mood board, imagery album — before moving into design.
We do the design work using the one-concept method, meaning we put all our energy into one strong, well-reasoned direction based on the information we have about your brand.
You receive a video presentation, sit with it for 24 hours, submit your feedback, and we refine from there.
Everything gets delivered via Google Drive and loaded into your Canva kit, ready to go.
-
Here’s what we’ll need in the branding process:
you completed Brand questionnaire (we'll send it to you — set aside real time to sit with it, it's about six pages)
1 90 minute strategy meeting
1 30 minute brand review meeting
your correspondence on Basecamp (our project management tool)
your Canva login so we can set up your kit, and a clear sense of where your brand needs to live — social, print, web, merch, etc. after the project wraps
-
There are only 2 meetings as a part of the branding process.
1 90 minute Strategy Meeting
1 30 minute Brand Review Meeting
From there, all of our communications happen in our project management tool, Basecamp (which also has a fabulous mobile app!)
All calls are recorded and provided to you in your project folder. -
We (your brand included) exist/s in the context of all that came before it and all that will come after it. The logo on it’s own doesn’t do the whole job of telling the story of your business or connecting with your ideal customer/client.
Everything we design is built on a brand foundation, which means the logo is always part of a larger system. If budget is the concern, our Mini Brand Design starting at $5,000 is the most accessible way in and gives you everything you need to show up consistently.
If you're truly just after a one-off logo, we'd point you toward the Kiss My Aesthetic private community which has plenty of other designers at various skill levels and price points who could help you out.
-
Seeing your branding for the first time and not GUSHING over it (though it happens 85% of the time with our clients) is totally ok.
Sometimes there are a lot of emotions wrapped up in the branding/rebranding process and people think that its supposed to feel like wedding dress shopping. Like you’re going to find the dress.
Our process is designed to give you space: watch the presentation all the way through, walk away for 24 hours, then come back with fresh eyes. That distance matters. We have to remember that you’re ultimately creating a brand not for yourself, but for your ideal client/customer.However, if you’re still unsure, every project includes one round of revisions.
Tweaks to colors, adjustments to the logo, or something that just isn't sitting right can be tackled after our c=brand review conversation.
Remember: The more people you show it to, the more opinions you'll collect — and opinions aren't strategy and can sometimes cloud your judgement about the branding we’ve created based on what you’ve told us. :) -
Edits to your brand design can be submitted on the duplicate version of your presentation ‘comments section’ which will be provided to you on the thread in Basecamp with your brand design video presentation.
We LOVE to share in your enthusiasm, so if you see something you love, please feel free to comment that! If there’s something you’re not so sure about, please comment that as well so we can review together on your 30 minute brand review call.
The Hand-off
-
At the end of your project we provide all of your branding files via Google Drive and Canva. In it, you’ll find:
📁 .Ai files (Adobe illustrator, you will not be able to open unless you have adobe programs. These are added as a back up for our team for future use, or if you need especially large print or signage work done)
📁 .SVG — Scalable Vector Graphic Your go-to for digital use. Scales to any size without losing quality, and allows color changes in Canva. Use this for your logo everywhere online.
📁 .PDF — Portable Document Format The print-ready file. Send this to your printer, signage vendor, or merch supplier. Crisp at any size, universally accepted.
📁 .PNG — Portable Network Graphic A high-resolution flat file with a transparent background. Use this when you need to drop your logo onto a colored background, in presentations, or anywhere SVG isn't supported.
📁 .GIF — Graphics Interchange Format An animated file for digital use only. Think logo reveals, subtle motion graphics, or branded moments for social and email. Not for print.
We will load all of these assets into your Canva brand kit so they are easily usable for you. -
You can absolutely use your brand assets in Canva! We recommend it! In fact, your assets will be added in the brand kit, which makes them accessible in any Canva design you’re working on.
Because we add them as .svg files, you can change the color of the assets using the canva color panel as needed. -
Two ways. If you have ongoing design needs — social content, print collateral, events, packaging, campaigns — our Creative Direction Retainer is the best fit. It's a monthly partnership where we handle strategy, design, and execution on a rolling basis.
If you just need something specific made, we do take on one-off projects for past branding clients. Either way, fill out the contact form and tell us what you need — we'll point you in the right direction.
The Finances
-
Asking what branding costs is like asking how much is a house? There are so many factors that go into creating the perfect brand, but it also depends on where you're starting and how far you want to go.
Mini Brand Design — the essentials to get your brand built and deployed — runs $5,000 to $7,000.
Full Service Brand Design — which includes everything in Mini plus the multi-page brand guideline, mockup execution, and design files for every application, starts at $15,000 and goes up from there depending on the size and visibility of your business. If you did a Strategy Session first, that $1,250 rolls directly into your project fee. And if you're not sure which level is right for you, that's exactly what the Strategy Session is for.

Often we will source fonts or assets as part of your brand build out that will require you to also purchase a license.
However, we will always provide the next best match free version if you’re wanting to use those instead. -
We require 50% upfront to hold your project start date, and 50% on the project start date.
