POLAR BEAR EATS
DRIVE-IN DINER

HOW IT STARTED

Polar Bear Eats originally opened in Preston, Idaho in 1953. Sadly, the original owners closed the restaurant in the 2000’s but serial entrepreneur Sawyer Hemsley of Hemsley Ventures bought the rights to the restaurant with visions of restoring it to its original glory.

The new Polar Bear look needed to pay homage to the original, but modernize for a new generation of burger eaters and milkshake lovers. We opted for a Brandini scope of work on this project, but also manage Social Media, Packaging Design, and Creative Direction for the Polar Bear brand.

WHAT WE DESIGNED

We knew immediately that the Polar Bear Drive-in would be nothing without a beloved character logo. The custom illustration bear was inspired by the 1953 version of the logo. Paired with the neon signage inspired lettering, icons, patterns, and retro vintage merch style, Polar Bear is drumming up plenty of online buzz ahead of their 2023 launch.

We love working with Michelle. She is so amazing and beyond talented. We love how easy it is to work with her and her team and we also love how she gets exactly what we want and makes our vision come to life!

We have used her for three projects now and we can’t wait to use her for many more to come!
